Notice
As of June 1, 2026 the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) is now the Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA). We are in the process of updating our website to reflect this change.
We work continuously to achieve our mission by setting goals and utilizing evidence, measurement, and learning to improve results of programs and the effectiveness and efficiency of agency operations in service to the American public.
Evidence, Analysis, and Regulatory Affairs leads the development and execution of FNA's study and evaluation agenda. This web page is intended to provide program partners, other stakeholders, and the general public access to FNA research.
This data collection fulfills states’ reporting requirements and describes trends in program participation during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is part of an ongoing study series examining CN program operations, repurposed to collect waiver reports from all states.
