Turkey Burgers

Lemon juice gives these burgers some extra zest for your next cookout. Serve with tomatoes, lettuce, and onion to boost your veggies for the day.

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (about 1 lemon, juiced)
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon parsley, dried (or fresh, chopped)
  • 4 whole wheat buns

Directions

  1. Combine turkey, onions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley. Mix well.
  2. Shape mixture into four patties.
  3. Cook in a pan on medium heat or grill.
  4. Serve on whole wheat buns with toppings of your choice.
