Become a SNAP E&T Provider
High-quality workforce development service providers play a crucial role in states’ SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) programs. SNAP state agencies can partner with workforce development service providers — such as community colleges, community-based organizations, and others — to provide education, training, and support services to SNAP recipients.
These types of partnerships, commonly referred to as “third-party partnerships,” unlock powerful opportunities for state SNAP E&T programs. States can strengthen the potential of SNAP E&T by selecting partners that have a proven track record of preparing individuals for high-quality jobs and supporting participant success.
Maximize Your Impact
Third-party provider organizations often share the same mission as SNAP E&T: to help individuals gain skills, training, work, or experience that will increase their ability to obtain regular employment and meet state or local workforce needs. Further, provider organizations are likely already serving eligible SNAP recipients and have expertise connecting target populations to the job market and employer community. State SNAP E&T programs operate in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
