Notice is hereby given that the national average minimum value of donated foods, or cash in lieu thereof, per lunch under NSLP (7 CFR Part 210) and per lunch and supper under the Child and Adult Care Food Program (7 CFR Part 226) shall be 14.75 cents for the period July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000.
This notice announces the Food and Nutrition Service's (FNS) intent to continue a demonstration project to test program changes designed to improve the state processing of donated poultry by allowing the substitution of donated poultry supplied by the Department of Agriculture (the Department) with commercial poultry.
FNS coordinates with state, local and voluntary organizations to provide nutrition assistance to those most affected by a disaster or emergency.
