On Dec. 27, 2020, the President signed into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021. Attached is an information memorandum describing the SNAP provisions of that Act.

FNS issued eight child nutrition programs off-site monitoring fact sheets to assist states and sponsors in conducting off-site monitoring of child nutrition programs during the pandemic. These documents include a fact sheet that has background information on all programs, as well as separate facts sheets for state and local operators for each program.

There are four different types of CAM Tool (MS - Excel) examples that are available to assist the user.

The Cost Allocation Methodologies (CAM) provides a consistent, objective cost allocation process for identifying all federal and state benefiting programs and calculating an equitable distribution of software development costs among those benefiting programs. A series of worksheets walks the use through the cost allocation process.

CAM Tool User Guide - supplements the on-screen help available in the CAM-Tool, itself.  It contains step-by-step procedures and screen displays to illustrate how to capture and analyze the data needed to produce equitable distributions of software development costs to federal and state benefiting programs.

These documents are samples of action plans submitted by prior grantees.

The 2018 Farm Bill required the USDA to approve the building of state longitudinal research databases containing eligibility, benefit and demographic information about SNAP households and individual members to enable research on SNAP participation and operation of the program.

CACFP is a federally funded, state-administered program that provides aid to child and adult care centers and day care homes to serve nutritious foods that contribute to the health and wellness of young children and older and chronically impaired adults.
