Oklahoma Tribal Engagement Partners (OKTEP)
Oklahoma Tribal Engagement Partners is a SNAP-Ed Implementing Agency that partners with Tribal nations, organizations and agencies to extend culturally relevant programming to youth and families. Cooking videos are filmed from above and edited to be 2-5 minutes. Each recipe is designed to include FDPIR foods and highlights one or more ingredients as traditional foods. The cooking videos are part of a larger project with Tribal partners that include recipe cards, traditional food descriptions with traditional language and handouts covering storage and preparation instructions. New videos are added monthly. For project materials, email teresajackson@oktep.com.
