WIC MIS Integrity Review Tool

The APD approval process described in FNS Handbook 901 states that FNS might conduct a post-implementation review of the system once it is fully operational statewide. Furthermore, 7 CFR 246.19 allows for management evaluations and reviews of the state WIC programs including their management information systems. It is standard process, resources permitting, that the regional office staff conduct these reviews. The review combines the validation of the APD requirements, system controls and performance requirements, and system security, among other topics, as its foundation.
