This collection is a reinstatement, with change, of a previously approved collection for which approval has expired. FNS uses this collection to obtain account and record information from state and service institutions that is necessary to effectively manage the CACFP and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory Program requirements.

USDA announces adjusted income eligibility guidelines to be used by state agencies in determining the income eligibility of persons applying to participate in WIC. These income eligibility guidelines are to be used in conjunction with the WIC regulations.

This is a revision of a currently approved collection and the information collected is used to facilitate a communication network among organizations participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and schools participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). 

This notice announces the Department's annual adjustments to the Income Eligibility Guidelines to be used in determining eligibility for free and reduced price meals and free milk for the period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.

SNACS-II is the second comprehensive, nationally representative assessment of CACFP providers and the infants, children, and teens they serve. It will update the picture of the CACFP after updated meal pattern requirements went into effect in October 2017.

This collection is a revision of a currently approved information collection for the WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program regulations for the reporting and record-keeping burden associated with the WIC FMNP program regulations.

This notice announces the surplus and purchased foods that the Department expects to make available for donation to states for use in providing nutrition assistance to the needy under TEFAP in FY 2021. The foods made available under this notice must, at the discretion of the state, be distributed to eligible recipient agencies for use in preparing meals and/or for distribution to households for home consumption.

FNS is soliciting proposals from eligible Tribal Organizations to participate in a demonstration project to purchase agricultural commodities for FDPIR. Tribal organizations will be selected on a competitive basis and funding will be awarded through a self-determination contract.

The final rule implements the changes made by section 4005 of the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 to the SNAP pertaining to the E&T program and aspects of the work requirement for able-bodied adults without dependents.
