This notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. This collection is a new collection for (1) describing states' approaches to SNAP E&T case management, (2) providing a comprehensive picture of states' approaches to SNAP E&T participant assessment, (3) documenting states' approaches to offering participant reimbursements and other supports, and (4) describing states' responses to the new case management requirement.

USDA announces adjusted income eligibility guidelines to be used by state agencies in determining the income eligibility of persons applying to participate in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. These income eligibility guidelines are to be used in conjunction with the WIC regulations.

Resource | Notices TEFAP: Availability of Foods for FY 2020

This notice announces the surplus and purchased foods that the Department expects to make available for donation to states for use in providing nutrition assistance to the needy under The Emergency Food Assistance Program  in FY 2020. The foods made available under this notice must, at the discretion of the state, be distributed to eligible recipient agencies for use in preparing meals and/or for distribution to households for home consumption.

FNS is extending the public comment period on the proposed rule titled, “Employment and Training Opportunities in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program”, which was published in the Federal Register on March 17, 2020. This action extends the deadline for receipt of public comments to give the public additional time to review the proposed rule.
