The attached chart lists states that have issued a request for proposals. These states remain on the chart until either a new contract with the incumbent processor is in place, or until they convert to a new vendor.
In December 2018, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) published a proposed rule entitled “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Requirements for Able-Bodied Adults without Dependents”. This action supports the Agency’s commitment to self-sufficiency by more broadly applying SNAP’s work-related program standards for able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs).
Final Report. The primary charge of the work group was to identify Program requirements, policies, and procedures that, if eliminated or modified, would reduce burden or effort for SAs, institutions, and facilities participating in CACFP without undermining ongoing efforts to improve Program management.
