The FNS State Systems team has produced a series of training presentations designed to help state agencies understand and comply with the FNS approval process. These eight on-line presentations correspond to FNS Handbook 901, with information on the key documents or phases in the process.

This webinar included an overview of the demonstration project, and a detailed walk-through of requirements outlined in the recently published Federal Register notice.

During this webinar, FNS reviewed the demonstration project, the information required in proposals, and answered questions. 

The findings described in this webinar are based on two analyses. One that estimated the percentage of daily and weekly lunch menus that met the updated nutrition standards, and another that examined the nutritional quality of the lunches using the Healthy Eating Index-2010.
