The U.S. Department of Homeland Security proposes to prescribe how it determines whether a noncitizen is inadmissible to the United States under section 212(a)(4) of the Immigration and Nationality Act because they are likely at any time to become a public charge. 

This agenda provides summary descriptions of significant and not significant regulations being developed in USDA agencies in conformance with Executive Orders “Regulatory Planning and Review” and “Improving Regulation and Regulatory Review.” 

FNS is seeking public comment on its intent to ask the Office of Management and Budget to extend approval of the information collection under OMB approval #0584-0654 from Jan. 31, 2022 until Aug. 27, 2023.

FNS published a document in the Federal Register of Nov. 8, 2021, concerning a Request for Information about establishing a resource center that supports state and local WIC agencies in improving the application and certification journey. The original notice is missing a contact email. To avoid any confusion, we are re-publishing the notice in its entirety with the missing email information.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. 

FNS is proposing to add a new system of records, entitled USDA/FNS-12, which will replace The Integrity Profile (TIP) as the system used to house State agency vendor management data for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.

This collection is a revision of the currently approved collection for the WIC Nutrition Assessment and Tailoring Study (WIC NATS). The revision adds data collection from in-person site visits, where the data collection activities planned for the currently approved remote site visits will be replicated for use with 30 WIC clinic sites for in-person site visits once WIC clinic sites safely resume in-person operations.

USDA announces adjusted income eligibility guidelines to be used by state agencies in determining the income eligibility of persons applying to participate in WIC. These income eligibility guidelines are to be used in conjunction with the WIC regulations.
