Resource | Notices TEFAP: Availability of Foods for FY 2016

This notice announces the surplus and purchased foods that USDA expects to make available for donation to states for use in providing nutrition assistance to the needy under TEFAP in FY 2016. The foods made available under this notice must, at the discretion of the state, be distributed to eligible recipient agencies for use in preparing meals and/or for distribution to households for home consumption.

This notice announces the initial level of per-meal assistance for the Nutrition Program for the Elderly for fiscal year 2000. The fiscal year 2000 initial level of assistance is set at $.5404 for each eligible meal.
