The purpose of this memorandum is to clarify FNS policy regarding CSFP retroactive food package distributions.
Title 7 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 210 to 299, is revised as of Jan. 1, 2015, on page 566, in § 250.30, in paragraph (f)(2).

The guidance provided by this policy memorandum has been incorporated in FNS Instruction 410-1, Claims for Losses of Donated Foods and Related Administrative Losses-Procedures for the State Distributing Agency, as revised on Dec. 29, 2010.
