This notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. This is a revision of a currently approved collection for a web-based pre-screening tool used by the general public to determine potential eligibility for SNAP benefits.

This notice announces the national average value of donated foods or, where applicable, cash in lieu of donated foods, to be provided in school year 2018 (July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018) for each lunch served by schools participating in NSLP, and for each lunch and supper served by institutions participating in the CACFP.

FNS is putting a stay on the effective date of the interim final provisions in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Eligibility, Certification, and Employment and Training Provisions of the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 final rule. The effective date will be delayed for 120 days to Oc. 5, 2017.
State agencies must complete and maintain the FNS-245 for each negative case in their SNAP Quality Control (QC) sample. The FNS-245, Negative Case Action Review Schedule, is designed to collect QC data and serve as the data entry form for negative case action QC reviews in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
