This memo is inform FNS regional offices and state agencies of the release of the 2021-22 WIC Income Eligibility Guidelines. The 2021-22 Income Eligibility Guidelines are used by state agencies in determining the income eligibility of persons applying to participate in WIC. 

This collection is a revision of a currently approved information collection for the WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program regulations for the reporting and record-keeping burden associated with the WIC FMNP program regulations.

The primary purpose of the rule was to strengthen the requirements for adequate testing and pilot before rolling out a new management information system or major system changes. The rule also made changes to the SNAP regulations to provide clarifications and revisions since the last update which occurred in 1996.

This memorandum provides guidance concerning allowable FMNP cost that may be covered with Federal WIC funds.
