The purpose of this memorandum is to announce the release of the first version of the “Model Functional Requirements for State School Meal Programs Information Systems” and “Model Functional Requirements for Local School Meal Programs Information Systems” tools.
On September 30, 2016, USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service issued new guidance describing the federal requirements state agencies and school food authorities must comply with in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, with respect to indirect costs.
