Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Statutory authority to replace stolen benefits expired on Dec. 20, 2024, thus SNAP benefits stolen on or after Dec. 21, 2024, are not eligible for replacement using federal funds.
Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.
Households have 60 calendar days after the state has started their plan (Sept. 30, 2024) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 30 calendar days of discovering theft. Submit claims by mail, email, phone, in-person at local offices, or other valid transmission method. The state has 30 calendar days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are available for use by midnight on the day of claim approval. You must replace your card.

All public schools are approved and monitored through the Arkansas Department of Education. Arkansas Department of Human Services approves and monitors private school, residential child care institutions, state juvenile treatment centers, and juvenile detention centers.

Report theft within 10 calendar days of discovering and submit a claim form within 10 more calendar days. Report theft by mail, phone, fax, email, or in-person at local offices. Submit claims by mail, fax, email, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 business days after report of loss, or 2 business days after claim submission (whichever is later) to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 10 business days of report of loss or 10 business days after claim submission (whichever is later). You must replace your card.
