Webinar: FY 2018 CACFP Meal Service Training Grants for States

On May 1, 2018, USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) presented an informational webinar on the fiscal year (FY) 2018 Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Meal Service Training Grants. State agencies will receive $100,000 in grant funds to use for training on topics such as menu development, meal service options, meal patterns, food purchasing and preparation, and more. However, the state agency must submit a brief application via grants.gov to receive the noncompetitive grant funds. During the webinar, FNS discussed how states apply for the grants, training topics and resources, allowable costs under the grant, and more. Applications for this funding opportunity are due on May 30, 2018.
