Procurement and Storage Strategies for Kosher Observant TEFAP Participants

On Aug. 10, 2023, FNS hosted a second webinar to provide program stakeholders with additional information on supporting kosher observant communities through TEFAP. In this webinar, FNS featured speakers from AMS to discuss the recent RFI on available kosher and halal certified foods, and speakers from a Jewish advocacy organization who shared an overview of kosher dietary laws and best practices for storing kosher foods to maintain the integrity of the certification through distribution to program participants.
