Patrick Leahy Farm to School Program Cooperative Agreements

The Patrick Leahy Farm to School Program forms cooperative agreements with non-profit and tribal organizations to expand technical assistance, including farm to school and farm to CACFP institutes. These cooperative agreements will increase the capacity of government agencies, tribal organizations, agricultural producers, schools and other partners to increase local food procurement and agricultural education in child nutrition programs. 

FDPIR - Findings from the Program Access Quick Response Survey

This report responds to a Congressional directive in the Further Consolidated Appropriations Bill of 2020, tasking the USDA FNS with studying challenges facing FDPIR in reaching underserved populations, specifically homebound and elderly individuals unable to travel to FDPIR distribution locations. The report summarizes findings from a survey of FDPIR program operators about how they serve these populations, challenges encountered, and recommendations for enhancing accessibility for the homebound and elderly.

SNAP Healthy Fluid Milk Incentives 2024

The primary purpose of the HFMI project is to develop and test methods to increase the purchase and consumption of qualifying fluid milk by SNAP households by providing them an incentive at the point of purchase at authorized retailer locations.
