Replacement of Stolen Benefits

Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.

Households have 60 calendar days after the state has started their plan (Aug. 14, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Report theft within 30 calendar days of discovering and submit a claim form within 30 more calendar days. Report theft by phone, mail, or in-person at local offices. Submit claims by mail, online, or in-person at local offices. The state has 10 calendar days to validate the claim.

Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 10 calendar days after claim approval. You must replace your card.
