Form FNS-101: Participation in Food Programs - by Race
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide guidance regarding the rounding procedures to be used when determining the total resources and net monthly income of FDPIR applicant households.
Policy Memoranda FD-021, FDPIR Match Requirement (dated June 5, 2003), and FD-068, Indirect Cost Rates in the FDPIR Budget Process (dated Nov. 8, 2007), are cancelled. The guidance provided by these policy memoranda has been incorporated in the newly revised FNS Instruction 716-4, Administrative Budget Negotiation Guidance for the Food Distribution Program in Indian Reservations and the Food Distribution Program for Indian Households in Oklahoma.
Form FNS-667 is used by state agencies to report use of TEFAP administrative funds.
Form FNS-57 is used by consignees to report overages and shortages in a shipment and commodities damaged in transit.
This instruction establishes uniform policy for regional offices to follow in negotiating annual administrative budgets with the Indian Tribal Organizations and state agencies that administer the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations and Food Distribution Program for Indian Households in Oklahoma.
This memorandum provides clarification regarding payments made to individuals under PL 101-426, the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, as amended. Those payments shall not be counted as income or resources for the purpose of determining eligibility for participation in FDPIR.
The Nutrient Content of the U.S. Food Supply, 2005, estimates on the availability and percentage contributions of nutrients by major food groups. The data and trends presented in this report are invaluable for monitoring the potential of the food supply to meet nutritional needs; for examining relationships between food supplies, diet, and health; and for examining dietary trends of Americans.
This session is intended to introduce students to a working knowledge of dietary fiber as defined by the Institute of Medicine and the data series used to report trends on how much nutrients and other food components are available for consumption, on a per person and per day basis.
This report summarizes the actions and initiatives implemented since 2002 to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among participants in the nutrition assistance programs. The following areas addressed are policy, guidance, and initiatives, programs, nutrition education and promotion, collaboration and coordination, grants, reports, and emerging initiatives and resources.
