Resource Information Collection: SNAP Emergency Allotments (COVID-19)

This collection is an extension, without change, of a currently approved collection for activities associated with administering emergency allotments waivers. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020, enacted March 18, 2020, includes a general provision that allows the Department to issue emergency allotments waivers based on a public health emergency declaration by the Secretary of Health and Human Services under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act related to an outbreak of COVID-19 when a State has also issued an emergency or disaster declaration.

Resource School Meals Operations Study: Evaluation of the COVID-19 Child Nutrition Waivers and Child Nutrition Programs

This collection is a revision of a currently approved collection for the School Meals Operations Study with updated survey instruments for SY 2021-2022. This study will collect data from state agencies and public school food authorities, including disaggregated administrative data and data on the continued use and effectiveness of the CN COVID-19 waivers.

Resource Comment Request - SNAP Ed Connection Resource Sharing Form

This is a revision of a currently approved collection for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Forms: FNS-0625 Resource Sharing Form. This form update will help improve the submission process by clarifying the information requested for certain fields, thus providing data that is accurate and beneficial to stakeholders using the resource.

Resource Extension of Comment Period: Simplifying Meal Service and Monitoring Requirements in the NSLP and SBP

This rulemaking proposes changes to simplify meal pattern and monitoring requirements in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. The proposed changes, including optional flexibilities, are customer-focused and intended to help State and local Program operators overcome operational challenges that limit their ability to manage these Programs efficiently. The original comment period for this rule ends on March 23, 2020. FNS is extending the comment period through April 22, 2020.

Resource Food Stamp Program - Technical Amendments Concerning Disabled in Group Homes and Income Exclusion for Plans for Achieving Self-Support

This final rule expands the food stamp eligibility of certain blind and disabled individuals residing in group homes and excludes income of an SSI recipient necessary for the fulfillment of a Plan for Achieving Self Support (PASS).
