USDA is sharing the results from its third SFA Survey on Supply Chain Disruptions and Student Participation, which examines school year 2023-24. We are also releasing a new data visualization that compares data from the second and third surveys. 

On Monday, FNS will publish a final rule entitled: “SNAP: Employment and Training Program Monitoring, Oversight, and Reporting Measures.” The rule was posted for Public Inspection on the Federal Register website today. 

FNS has announced a final rule to standardize how states calculate Standard Utility Allowances for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. The rule ensures greater consistency and accuracy across the country, while allowing states to retain flexibility to reflect variations in local utility costs.

It’s called the Direct Certification with Medicaid Demonstration Project and USDA recently opened applications for more states to participate.

That’s why we are excited to share the SNAP EBT Modernization Technical Assistance Center, also known as SEMTAC, a valuable resource to help retailers get set up for SNAP online purchasing.
