Incident: Typhoon WUTIP

- On Dec. 26, FNS approved a USAID Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) follow-up request to distribute full and partial food baskets to 9,295 individuals in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in March and April 2020 due to the agricultural damage suffered as a result of Typhoon WUTIP.
- Beginning in September 2019, USDA, in partnership with the USAID Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) began distributing full and partial food baskets to 11, 575 individuals on islands which suffered agricultural damage as a result of Typhoon WUTIP. The baskets, containing rice, fruit, vegetables and oil, will be provided monthly for three months.
