Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Statutory authority to replace stolen benefits expired on Dec. 20, 2024, thus SNAP benefits stolen on or after Dec. 21, 2024, are not eligible for replacement using federal funds.

Households have 90 calendar days after the state plan is approved (Feb. 24, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. Submit regular claims within 45 days of discovering theft. Submit claims online, by mail, or at local offices. The state has 10 calendar days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 3 calendar days after claim approval. You must replace your card.
