WIC - Remote Benefit Issuance Waiver

Resource type
Technical Assistance

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act gave FNS the authority to grant waivers to states that remove barriers for remote issuance of WIC benefits, such that participants do not have to come into the clinic to pick up WIC EBT cards and/or paper coupons. This ensures participants can continue to receive nutrition assistance while minimizing potential exposure.
