On May 8, 2026, we published the final rule, Updated Staple Food Stocking Standards for Retailers in SNAP. The rule makes several changes to retailer stocking requirements that retailers must comply with starting on Nov. 4, 2026. We will update the retailer training webpage with guidance soon, and update the information on this page, as appropriate.
