Food Safety Partnerships

FNS works cooperatively with University partners to advance food safety research and provide valuable resources for child nutrition program operators. The Center for Food Safety in Child Nutrition Programs at Kansas State University provides leadership in advancing food safety research and practices within USDA FNS nutrition assistance programs. The Institute of Child Nutrition at the University of Mississippi provides information and services that promote the continuous improvement of child nutrition programs.
