In the first 100 days of the Trump Administration, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has taken action to support the leadership of President Donald J. Trump and put Farmers First at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins visited Texas with U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to discuss food security and learn how America’s farmers are working to Make America Healthy Again.

At her direction, the USDA has worked to support American farmers and ranchers on the southern border, hold Mexico accountable to the agreements they’ve made with the United States, and ensure illegal immigrants do not receive federal benefits.   

Today, at the direction of U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins, Acting Deputy Under Secretary for Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services John Walk issued guidance to all state agencies directing them to enhance identity and immigration verification practices when determining eligibility for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Secretary Brooke Rollins applauded a pledge by the International Dairy Foods Association to eliminate artificial colors in milk, cheese, and yogurt products sold to K-12 schools for the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs.
