To the left you will find a link to USDA Foods that are available or expected to be made available for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR). The list is subject to change based on market availability. Please reference the WBSCM or IFMS catalog which contains the most up to date list of available USDA Foods.
The FDPIR Estimated Cost per Unit Report provides an estimated cost per unit of all USDA Foods available to FDPIRs. The cost per unit is updated each year in April and October. This information can be used to establish values for household food claims and USDA Food losses.
The USDA Department of Defense (DoD) Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program allows tribal organizations to buy domestically grown and produced fresh fruits and vegetables to include in the FDPIR food package. The USDA DoD Fresh program is operated by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at DoD.
For a full list of fruits and vegetables available please refer to the FNS Handbook 501 Exhibit O Guide Rate.
