Dear Administrator Fradera Vázquez:
We are writing to inform you of the status of the Puerto Rico Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP), State Plan of Operations (SPO), for fiscal year (FY) 2024. On Oct. 3, 2023, my office provided a partial approval for the FY 2024 NAP SPO and provided funding through Dec. 31, 2022.
We have now completed our comprehensive review of the FY 2024 NAP SPO your agency submitted. I am glad to inform you that we are approving this plan. The total amount of the FY 2024 NAP grant is $2,930,332,000 ($2,881,750,204 Benefits, $28,581,796 Admin).
