Each SNAP state agency is required to operate an Employment and Training (E&T) program to help SNAP participants gain skills, training, work, or experience that will increase their ability to obtain regular employment and meet state or local workforce needs. All state agencies are required to submit an annual SNAP E&T state plan to FNS.
