Replacement of Stolen Benefits
Contact your state agency to report stolen SNAP benefits.
Households have 30 calendar days after the state has started their plan (Aug. 24, 2023) to submit a retroactive claim. If the claim form is accessed on the 30th calendar day, you will have 10 more calendar days to return the form to the state. Submit regular claims within 90 days of discovering the theft. If the claim form is accessed on the 90th calendar day you will have an additional 10 calendar days to return the form to the state. Submit claims by mail, fax or email. The state has 10 business days to validate the claim.
Benefit Availability: Benefits for approved claims are issued within 10 business days after the date of claim submission. You must replace your card.
