This memorandum provides additional guidance to assist in implementing the final rule, Administrative Reviews in School Nutrition Programs, effective Sept. 27, 2016. The guidance included in this memorandum is intended to assist with the completion of administrative reviews conducted after this effective date.
The purpose of this instruction is to set forth a procedure for submitting and approving quality control programs for child nutrition labeled products.
This proposed rule would establish minimum professional standards for school nutrition personnel who manage and operate the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
