Series Overview
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides nutrition assistance to eligible, low-income individuals and households. SNAP is the largest domestic nutrition assistance program we administer.
We use SNAP administrative data collected for quality control to publish reports detailing the characteristics and economic circumstances of SNAP households. In the list below, you can access published reports that go back to fiscal year (FY) 1997. Each report provides an overview of SNAP, a narrative description of the SNAP population, and data tables detailing characteristics at both the national and state level.
